Iowa Land Auction Prices, December 9-15

December 18, 2023

Clarke County tops the market with a $20,104/acre sale. However, this is an acreage so it is disqualified. Plymouth County gets the highest mark at $18,200/acre. Honorable mention goes to Dubuque County with a sale at $17,100/acre. There was a cash rent auction in Andrew Couty, NW Missouri along the Platte River. Offering 502 acres for a 3-year term. The winning bid was $435/acre, which does not include a 10% buyer fee. Cash rent auction results are coming in very strong. This explains, in some areas, why we are seeing a post-harvest bump in land prices. The 2023 auction season is winding down.
